How to Make Instant Ramen Better

Hey, have you ever wondered ‘How can I make my instant ramen better?’ Have you always wanted to learn how to make ramen at home without having to spend $13 on each ramen dish? Well, you do not have to look any further! As someone who enjoys eating ramen regularly but does not have the money currently to eat at a ramen restaurant every weekend, I can definitely relate. I have always wanted to make a ramen dish that looked like it was made at a restaurant and now I have! I am so excited to share with you ways you can spice up instant ramen noodles!

Step 1: Brown all sides of your pork belly on a pan. I bought pork belly from Trader Joe’s and I followed the instructions listed in order to make it. It took me about 10-15 minutes to do all sides and then I allowed it to rest for a few minutes as I was making soft-boiled eggs. After it has rested, slice the pork belly to your desired thickness.

Step 2: As I was browning the sides of the pork belly, I started to bring water to a boil. I filled it to about halfway in the pot. I placed 3 eggs into the pot but you can place as many as you desire. Lower each egg slowly into the water and boil them for 6.5 minutes. Then, after those minutes are up, make sure to place them into an ice bath for about 2 minutes. Make sure to peel gently as they are soft-boiled eggs. And then slice it in half.

Step 3: You can make instant ramen before or after you make the pork belly and eggs. I personally waited until the pork belly was done and resting before I began to make the instant ramen. You can add all of the toppings and vegetables that you want. I just added spinach and placed 2 seaweed laver sheets on the sides of the bowl. You can decorate and cater the dish to your liking.

I hope you enjoy eating upgraded ramen at home. If you recreate this, please tag me on Instagram! I would love to see what you have created! If you feel like this is too much work, I get that. But trust me, it is worth it and it does save you money in the long run.
